How to Install (SSP)
1.6.2/1.6.1
Firstly you'll need a few things:
A. If you changed your minecraft directory in the edit profile on the new launcher, then the mods folder will be in there. If you didn't change and it isn't in your .minecraft, go back to step 3
- The new Minecraft launcher: here
- A copy of the Minecraft Forge 1.6.2/1.6.1 Installer: 1.6.2 | 1.6.1
- A copy of Mo' Foods for 1.6.2/1.6.1 from the link above
- Now that you have these three requisites, firstly start up the Minecraft launcher, login and press play. Once it loads up close both the launcher and Minecraft
- Re-open the launcher, and now you should see the new profile and edit profile button. Now you can close it again.
- With the download of the Minecraft Forge 1.6.2/1.6.1 installer, right click it and go to open with and click Java Platform. When opened simply tick "install client" and press OK. It will now close and then when it's done, a message will pop up saying it's installed. If it takes a while for the message to pop up, just continue to step 4.
- Now, press the start button on your keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
- Go into the .minecraft folder in the window that just opened and then you should see a "mods" folder. If not, see step A below.
- Go into the "mods" folder, and drag and drop the copy of Mo' Foods for 1.6.2/1.6.1 into here.
- To run it, open up the launcher, and from the drop down in the top right, select the profile called "Forge" and then play. This is how you install mods.
